Double Cream

Thickened Cream

 

 

3/4 cup Milk

1/3 Cup room temp butter

 

 

Melt butter in a heavy based pan (or microwave)

 

Once melted let cool to room temp then add to milk.

 

If you are using a low fat milk you might like to add 1tlb of flour to help with thickening

 

Mix with a wisk til thick & frothy

 

Store covered in fridge & store for up to 3 days

 

Try using tofu & soy milk for a vegetarian alternative

 

just add tofu little by little till desired thickness is achieved
